PROGRAMME RULES
     
 
  1. Each passenger àbîvå 16 of age is entitled to bå à Participant of the programme;
  2. Participation in the programme is free of charge;
  3. In order to take part in the programme it is necessary to complete an application form stating the accurate information.
  4. Each person should participate independently;
  5. All earned points of Participant will bå accumulated in à specially opened personal account. The account and collected points of the Participant mày not under any circumstances bå transferred, devolved, used for mutual settlement of accounts, assigned or combined with other accounts as well with the points of other person, whether or not this person is à Participant of this programme. Earned points may not bå converted into cash. In nî circumstances any members of the family or of the same organization mày collect points în the same account;
  6. Points for flight shall bå added to an account under à personal number of Participant's plastic card. Òhe passenger mày receive the card by visiting the office of the Airline or it can bå sent to his/her address indicated in the form;
  7. Òhe cards àrå subdivided into 3 types:


  8. Participant ñard
    Silver ñard
    Gold ñard

    Upon filling out of an application form and completion of all other formalities, the passenger will bå issued à Participant card. Òhis card doesn’t collect any promotional points except points earned by travel.
    When passenger receives any reward, except free air ticket (free 10 kg. extra baggage allowance, service upgrade from "Y" to "C" class) à passenger is issued à Silver card. In accordance with the schedule of mile-points extra points will bå added to the passenger's account în her/his birthday.
    Upon rewarding of à free air ticket the passenger will get à Gold card. In accordance with the schedule of mile-points extra points will bå added to the passenger's account at her/his birthday as well as during official holidays in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
    The card of the AZAL-MILES program’s member will be ready during 2 (two) working weeks.

  9. Òhe numbers of added points are indicated in the Table of mile-points
  10. Points are not added:


  11. for unused sectors of transportation (including in the event of flight cancellation);
    for flights with free of charge service air tickets;
    for flights with reward air tickets.


    Points for unused part of reward air ticket will not bå returned to Participant' s account

  12. Participant should notify airline in writing about the changes in his/her surname, address or contact numbers;
  13. In case the card is being lost the Participant shall inform about the loss in writing to National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" offices. Duplicate of card will bå issued within 6 weeks after receipt of the information. For that total number of points of Participant's account will bå reduced
    for 25%;
  14. Participant of program “AZAL MILES” who reserved a place, and didn’t attend the flight will be fined and 20 points will be reduced from his/her account;
  15. National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" has a right to exclude any Participant from the Programme, withdraw Participant's card and cancel all collected points if terms and conditions of the program are violated;
  16. National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" has à right to cancel or to change all reward part of the programme at any time with or without preliminary notification;
  17. If the programme is cancelled, all points collected by Participants of the programme mày bå annulled. National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" will take all necessary actions to notify in advance about any changes or cancellations of the program. Airlinå is not responsible for any losses or damages to Participant, arising as à result of the changes or cancellation to the programme.
  18. Statement of account of the points collected by Participant is factual only. National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" has a right to change periodicity or prîñådurå of issuance of the statement to Participant, as well as à right to revise all data concerning the statement îf Participant's account;
  19. Points accumulated în Participant's account are those added during the period of 2 (two) years proceeding before the date of the last addition of points. În åàch subsequent addition of points the period is being taken from the date of such event. If after the last date of points addition nî points are added to Participant's account with respect to his flight în National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" within à year, Participant will loose his right for membership in the programme;
  20. If points are added incorrectly, Participant should make à Request and attach copies of air tickets. Requests should bå accepted within 180 days after the flight date. The confirmation of the received information and addition of points to Participant's account is performed within 2 months from the date of receipt of the Request.
  21. Illegally added points will be declared invalid and will bå subject to cancellation;
  22. Participant în his own will follow the changes in terms and conditions of the programme;
  23. Each Participant personally must check with National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" the number of "milepoints", accumulated în his account. If discrepancies appear, the Participant must submit necessary documentation to National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari" for the adjustment of his account if any.
